I don't like emotive language when it's manipulative, but I also feel that we need to have healthy ways of expressing our emotions, especially over this kind of frightening news. A fine line, isn't it?
You hit the nail on the head. It IS a fine line . And it IS frightening news. People can brush Caitlin off as a dramatist. But it is so easy to become desensitised, and to normalise truly awful things.
